love sometimes can feel like old gum
you keep chewing on because your mouth
is bored and your stomach is hungry.
It will play tricks on your brain
to keep you salivating and it will stifle your hunger.

but you end up with this bad taste, and
it either goes all hard and hurts to chew
or it dissolves all over your tongue, making you spit it out
either way
Always leaving a sticky residue and a feeling
of disgust.
